About the Members

All Members of the Society have completed an intensive training in the analysis of adults or of children or both. They originally come from a wide range of professions, including medicine, psychology, social work, teaching and the clergy. Many combine private practice with work in the NHS, universities and in a variety of voluntary agencies. All members are registered with either the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy or the British Psychoanalytic Council.
